About me

  • I’ve written and edited for IBM, Oak Ridge Associated Universities, the Knoxville News-Sentinel,  Southern Living,  New Millennium Writings, the University of Tennessee Press and many others.
  • Creative and corporate clients often come back for more. While that’s due to the quality of my work, I’m also conscientious and easy to deal with. Honestly, that’s my job!
  • I’m interested in just about everything, which gives me a huge edge as a writer, interviewer and storyteller. My curiosity helps me excavate those unique angles and create compelling, interesting content.
  • A native New Englander, I’m now firmly rooted in Knoxville, Tennessee, a vibrant southern city that has captured my heart.
  • My favorite places to write?
    • Curling up in any corner of our cozy cottage, with our Corgi and Yorkie snoring at my feet.
    • Camping out at my local Homebucks, surrounded by professors and students from the University of Tennessee.
    • Fleeing to Paris, renting an AirBnB, and writing IBM white papers (among other things) at the Café de Flore.
  • Academic background? B.A. in English from Boston College and an M.S. in Journalism from the University of Tennessee.
