For four consecutive Aprils, I packed up my portable corporate job and rented apartments for extended stays in Paris. I'm working on a collection of essays about those experiences. Paris is a much-covered topic, but as one writer friend noted, "People always want to read about Paris." Here's hoping - and here are three essays from the collection.

I mostly write prose, but it's been fun to dabble in poetry and even publish a few. These three (Escape of the Profound, For Dessert and The Cool Side of the Pillow) were published in two New Millennium Writings anthologies. The first two were written during a creative writing retreat in Auvillar, France.
